ARTICLE IV - general and executive boards
Section 1: The General Camp Board shall consist of the pastor and one lay person elected by each cooperating church with the participating associations, and/or members of the Executive Board. The General Board shall meet annually on the Camp grounds during the first meeting of the new year.
Vacancies in the General Board are to be filled by the various churches as soon as possible. When new General Board members are elected, churches will send in their names and addresses to the Encampment Manager.
Section 2: The Executive Board shall consist of members from each of the five participating associations. The members shall be elected and replaced by the respective association for a four year period on a rotating basis - two new members to be elected each year. These members shall serve on the standing committees. The Executive Board of Circle Six Ranch Baptist Camp, Inc. will place these members on the standing committees.
Section 3: The Directors of Missions serving the participating associations and the Associational mission organization leaders shall be members of the Executive Board and ex-officio members of all Camp Board committees, both standing and special.
Section 4: The Executive Board shall have at least one meeting each quarter of the year.
Other meetings may be called as necessary, with written notice being sent to the Executive and/or General Board members at least seven days prior to the date of the called meeting.
Section 5: The Executive Board shall manage and operate the Camp through the Constitutional process. It is responsible for equipment and property. It shall establish policy.
Section 6: The General Board is authorized to sell, convey, assign or lease any part of the real properties which consist of buildings and/or grounds belonging to the Camp in any manner and upon such terms as the General Board shall direct. A thirty day notice must be given to the cooperating churches before the Board votes to dispose of real property.
The Executive Board will have the authority to deal with all equipment belonging to the Camp
